Toddler Program

With babyhood behind them, our toddlers are becoming more active by crawling and beginning to walk. They are ready to abandon the help they happily relied on during infancy and take on new experiences. Our teachers and age appropriate rooms provide many opportunities for children to discover the new world around them in a safe and caring environment.

• Our teachers encourage children to do things on their own. Learning-by-doing helps toddlers develop a feeling of confidence as they master new skills.
• Realizing that toddlers have many skills to master, our low teacher-student ratios encourage successful learning.
• Our light and colorful toddler rooms are filled with developmentally appropriate toys and equipment that encourage play, discovery and exploration.
• Sensory experiences such as seeing, touching, hearing, smelling and tasting are explored within the classroom as well as through our state of the art, age appropriate playground area.
• When developmentally appropriate, our toddlers will enjoy meals in our centrally located student center.
• In our outdoor play area, toddlers are surrounded with safe, age appropriate toys that encourage active play.
• All teachers are trained in first aid and CPR.
• Written reports provided each day keep you informed of your child’s progress.
